ROCHESTER AREA FLYERS · ABOUT THIS SITE

BUILT FOR
FREE FLIGHT.

A modern club, flying, weather, training, and community application shaped around the people who make Western New York free flight possible.

APPLICATION CREDIT

Technical architecture and software development by Keene Hammond.

Keene is the application’s technical architect and software developer. He designed and implemented the product experience, information architecture, workflows, data systems, integrations, and technical platform that bring the club’s public story and day-to-day operations into one system.

This is the Rochester Area Flyers club site and a home for the hang-gliding community. Application credit recognizes the software work; it does not transfer ownership of the club, its identity, or community-created knowledge and content.

THE KNOWLEDGE BEHIND IT

A community-built record.

The value of this application comes from generations of people caring for sites, teaching pilots, recording flights, studying weather, sharing stories, and keeping one another safe.

Rochester Area Flyers

Club governance, local operations, membership records, programs, site stewardship, history, and living community knowledge.

Free Spirit Flight

Regional relationships, flying-site knowledge, stories, photographs, video, and the people whose experience helped shape this shared free-flight home.

Pilots + instructors

Firsthand experience, coaching, observations, flight records, judgment, mentorship, corrections, and the practical knowledge that cannot come from software alone.

Photographers + storytellers

Images, films, writing, archives, and memories remain the work of their respective creators and are credited wherever their identity is known.

HOW CREDIT WORKS HERE

Application: Keene Hammond is credited as technical architect and software developer.

Site and community: This is the Rochester Area Flyers site, created to serve the club and the hang-gliding community.

Club records and guidance: The responsible club, officer, instructor, pilot, or governing source remains authoritative.

Media and stories: Creators retain their credit; missing or incorrect attribution should be reported and corrected.

Safety: Software organizes information. It never replaces official documents, site permission, instruction, current conditions, or pilot-in-command judgment.
